| The
Chibisov Prize
The International Committee
for Imaging Science (ICIS) established the international Chibisov
Prize in 1998 for distinguished work in the Science of Silver
Halide Photography. This prize was established in memory of
the first Honorary President of the ICIS and his contribution
to the Science of Silver Halide Photography. In 2006, the
committee broadened the scope of this prize to include the
whole spectrum of imaging materials and devices.
These prizes are awarded every four years at the International
Congress.
